How it works

The Q1S-TP top plate mounts directly to your camera or accessory using a 1/4"-20 screw, with a built-in 3/8"-16 threaded sleeve for broader compatibility. This eliminates the need to swap screws or keep track of separate bushings.

Once attached, the plate slides into your existing Seastars quick release base, locking securely into place. The added grub screw can be tightened using a standard 4mm Allen key, helping to minimise any play between the plate and base. Alignment markings on the plate make it easier to position your camera correctly, ensuring consistent orientation when mounting and remounting your setup.
