From Santa Maria in La Morra. No wood ageing. Importer: Giorgio De Maria Fun Wines
Rich, ripe cherry and nuts, mint and honey, a slight black pepper exotic thing happening. It’s juicy, dark fruited, with some earthy coffee bean flavour (not oak), light black tea tannin, a baked plum and spicy poached strawberry finish of good length. No harm in drinking this now with a cheeky decant.
