Does the clear coat need touch-ups or maintenance?

The factory-applied clear coat protects the weave and resists UV fading. Treat it like any automotive clear coat—regular wash and occasional wax will keep it looking sharp. If you take curbs or debris hits the lip, inspect for cracking and sand/refinish that section to prevent moisture entering the weave.
