The wide leg take on the bias cut pant, built from 30 momme silk satin for a pant with significantly more presence than the standard. The raw edge hem is intentional, finished deliberately unlined and unhemmed to let the weight of the silk fall cleanly. The wide leg cuts a strong line, and the bias gives the cloth movement through the leg. A statement silhouette that still pulls on with an encased elastic waist.

How does it fit? Regular through the hip with a wide leg cut. The waist is encased elastic and pulls on with no zip or fastening. The bias gives the fabric movement through the leg.

How do I care for it? Hand wash only in cold water, or dry clean. Not suitable for the machine. Lay flat or hang to dry, away from direct heat.

Is it lined or sheer? Unlined. At 30 momme the coverage is excellent and the raw edge hem is a deliberate finish rather than unfinished work.

What does it go with? Black works with everything. The wide leg and raw edge give this pant a more architectural feel than the standard bias, so it pairs best with something simple above. A tailored shirt, a silk tank or a fine knit. A year round piece that reads differently dressed up or down.
