The ordering window for Summer delivery on our silk velvet ballerinas is now closed, so it is not currently possible to order until the current batch is completed and the order book opens again in late summer (sometime in August). 

IMPORTANT;  When available this is one of our made-to-order styles, and will be made especially for you in your size and choice of colour. Consequently there is a lead time of around 8 weeks from placement of order to completion when your velvet ballerinas will be shipped. The total price is £340. A 50 % deposit is required as confirmation of your order, with the balance plus shipping payable upon completion. Outside of our 3 annual order windows (Spring delivery, Summer delivery, and Christmas delivery) you are welcome to register an interest so you can be notified when the order book opens again. 

Created from lustrous silk/viscose mix velvet, laced with toning silk satin ribbons through hand worked buttonhole eyelets.

Formed on our exclusive squared or pointed extended toe lasts, these Ballets Russe inspired ballerina flats create a wonderfully elegant elongated shape. 

The fabric is mounted on a soft suede inner lining. Sole and 1cm block heel are man-made. And just in case it needs saying, these are fashion shoes, not actually ballet slippers.

Available in black, plum, sapphire, cherry-red or raspberry pink. Choice of squared or pointed toe shape.

The textile has been treated with an eco-friendly stain guard, based on nano-technology, (and containing absolutely none of those hideous PFOAs that have been slowly poisoning the environment over the last 70 years) which will help to protect the surface of the fabrics from stains, but it should be noted that these couture materials need to be respected and treated with care.

Sustainability Every time a pair of shoes is purchased a donation is made via Ecologi to both offset the carbon involved in production and shipping and make a positive net contribution to combatting climate change....that's 5 trees planted per pair.

Packaging Each pair of shoes is nestled in a high quality presentation box made from 92% recycled materials which can be wholly recycled at end of life (once ribbon and magnetic closure have been removed and recycled separately). Essential as recycling is, it is not carbon neutral, so I wanted the boxes to have as long an after-life as possible. The sturdy construction and minimal branding make them really attractive keepsake and storage boxes that hopefully will prove useful for many years to come. The lid is handstamped with our beautiful calligraphy logo, and zig-zag shred (made from non-coated recyclable bio-degradable paper) is used for the protective padding.
