Rare Cuervo y Sobrinos Super Jumbo “Coca-Cola Habana” with silvered dial and Molnija Cal. 3602 – a true Cuban collector’s piece.

Cuervo y Sobrinos, founded in Havana in 1882, became a Swiss luxury brand with rich Cuban heritage. Originally the only importers of watches and jewellery into Cuba, the company eventually started manufacturing their own watches blending Swiss precision with Havana’s vibrant spirit. It's timepieces embodied elegance, exotic flair, and Old World craftsmanship. Though production later moved to Switzerland, Cuervo y Sobrinos continues to honour its Cuban roots, creating distinctive watches that merge history, artistry, and timeless Latin character.

How cool is this? This Habana Super Jumbo Ltd Edition features a silvered dial, powered by a Caliber 3602 Molnija pocket watch movement with 18 jewels and a 41-hour power reserve. The striking red Coca-Cola script - almost certainly a nod to Cuba's infatuation with the soft drink - oversized case, and charming patina make this a rare and highly collectible piece of Cuban horological history. I absolutely love the retro tropicana vibe and it looks fantastic on the wrist! 

We acquired this watch from a regular client who felt it was a little large on his wrist - at 45mm it is certainly a jumbo - he originally purchased from this online store who fully refurbished/customised it - it may have originally been a pocket watch - the red 12 is possibly a nod to that too. It is certainly a head turner - a unique addition to any collection - we love it! 

The watch is still pretty much new in condition as the client didn’t really wear it because of its size but bought the watch as it reminded him of his father treating himself to a fine cigar and a cola based cocktail at the beginning of his weekend!
