DRESS DETAILS:

This 1950s true vintage party dress features a a soft blue lace trimmed at the illusion neckline and sleeve cuff with iridescent sequins. Under the lace is a layer of tulle and under the tulle is a silky taffeta underdress. The underdress is structured at the bodice with two areas of boning that hold the sweetheart strapless bodice up. This closes with a side metal zipper and snaps to close the lace over the underdress. It looks quite a bit like an Emma Domb dress but there is no label present in the gown. The taffeta appears to be a nylon or acetate. The lace is cotton.

This is in very good condition. All of the damage I have spotted, I have shown in the images. The main thing to note are two repairs to the lace. This is shown close up in the images. The skirt has a slight fade to it but is quite difficult to see. The under bodice has some discoloration to the underarm area where instead of pale pink it looks lavender. It is still sturdy and can be worn. It is clean and ready to wear.
