Does this bolt directly to the factory cat, or do I need an adapter?

This catback connects at the catalytic converter using factory mounting points — no adapter needed. You'll bolt the rear hangers to the existing rubber isolators under the car.

Will I need to remove or modify my heat shield?

Test-fit before final installation. Some factory heat shields may interfere with the new piping — you may need to unbolt or reposition them to clear the exhaust.

Is the tip pre-polished or will I need to polish it?

The stainless tip comes polished and ready to go. If you want a mirror finish, light hand polishing will bring out the shine, but it's assembly-ready out of the box.
