Do I need to resurface my header and head before installing this?

Light cleaning of both surfaces is recommended—wipe away carbon buildup and old gasket material with a gasket scraper. If either surface is visibly warped or damaged, address that first or you'll chase exhaust leaks.

Can I reuse the original header bolts or do I need new ones?

Original bolts will work if they're in good condition and not stripped. If you're pulling the header anyway, new bolts are cheap insurance and make torquing to spec easier without worrying about bolt stretch history.

What's the return process if this doesn't seal properly after install?
