Italian Pasta Chitarra with Rolling Pin
"Chitarra," (pronounced key-tahr-rah) is a natural wood pasta maker invented in the 1800s originally from Chieti, Italy, of the Abruzzo region.
Meaning, "guitar," a Chitarra looks like a double-sided harp with strings set close on one side and farther on the other.
HOW TO USE: Simply use a rolling pin to flatten and press the dough through the wires. In the center is a slanted board designed to allow the cut pasta to slide off easily. Two sides are included, one for angel hair (about 3mm) and another for fettuccini (5mm).
CARE: Hand wash only.
Made in Italy.
