Our Care Shower is designed with the needs of individuals with visual impairment and dementia in mind. The shower features easy-to-use, push-button controls with contrasting, raised tactile symbols, making it simple to adjust temperature and flow settings. The shower also includes LED-illuminated indicators and audible beeps to confirm adjustments, ensuring that users can confidently and independently use the shower. 

For added convenience, the shower remembers the last user setting, and our RNIB mode allows users to turn on the shower with pre-defined settings. The matt finish central control panel provides a comfortable and slip-resistant surface, reducing the risk of injury. The shower's rounded surfaces and edges also ensure a safe and secure experience.

This AKW electric shower is a BEAB Care certified, RNIB tested, and DSDC dementia-friendly product, guaranteeing its quality and reliability. It features a thermostatically stabilised temperature, maximum water temperature protection, and an automatic shutdown to prevent flooding and minimise water and energy wastage.

To further enhance the user experience, our Care Shower comes with a range of accessories, including a 2m anti-kink hose, 1m load-bearing riser rail, shelf with non-handed integral hose retainers, lever-operated sliding handset holder, and additional wall-mounted handset holder. The shower head is also available in three modes.

For added convenience, our Care Shower is available in various colour choices, including dark blue and mid-grey rails that provide sufficient colour contrast for those with dementia or visual impairment. Optional accessories include a wall-mounted remote on/off button that allows users or carers to turn the shower on/off from up to 10m away, as well as a wireless remote control that allows for temperature and flow adjustments from up to 10m away.
