Gorgeously preserved Anne Fogarty designer dress from the 1960s or early 1970s is from her Collectible Items line. It is a soft, gorgeous material from a light polyester. I love the combination of light on dark and dark on light. there is a darling pleat in the middle front skirt that reveals another pattern underneath.

The dress is long-sleeved and has a classic look. The fabric is in wonderful shape and the colors are preserved well. My phone camera and my eye see the colors a little differently. My eye seems a creamy background (not as white as the photos show.) The brown colors are a rich brown and a lighter brown. If I wore a small, I would not be selling this dress.

Anne Fogarty was an American fashion designer whose creations were elegant, simple, and sometimes practical. Her designs are classy, feminine and gorgeous! This dress has so many wonderful details from the waist band, to the bands on the sleeves, and the simple zipper and hook up the back.

The material has some stretch. The skirt has some fullness to it, but not like a circle skirt.
