The Mares XR-Rec Trim Single Backmount Set features Ergotrim technology that lets divers adjust trim in any position. The Ergo command works as a standard instructor demonstration tool and also functions as an Airtrim when placed in its dedicated holder. This backmount system is designed for scuba and diving gear where reliable buoyancy control and stable trim are important in a variety of underwater scenarios.

Built around a 17 litre, 1000D Cordura backmount bladder, the system emphasizes comfort and durability. The bladder’s extended lower portion provides greater buoyancy in the lower back area, while an ergonomic overpressure valve placement supports use in all diving positions. Quick waist strap adjustment, buckles on both shoulder straps, and independent shoulder and waist straps allow fast, intuitive tuning of fit. The padded shoulder straps, adjustable crotch strap with two back plate attachments, inflator with metal buttons, and a 3 mm aluminium back plate with a skeleton design contribute to a balanced, stable profile. A 3 mm aluminium single tank adapter, 6 mm aluminium D-rings, two tank straps, and an ultra-lightweight build (about 2.8 kg) make this backmount set suitable for travel. Available in four colours — black, blue, white, and aqua — and designed as one size fits all.
