This beautiful new dress design was inspired by the 1930s but blends features from many periods to create a real treasure that can be worn vintage or modern depending on your whim!

There are so many beautiful features to this dress - we don't know where to begin! 

Lets start with the neckline...Dress has a deep plunge V neckline which rises at the back to hug the neck. This may be a little risqué for some but works beautifully with layering for those who want to cover up more. We've taken the shirring detail at the shoulder from our late 30s/early 40s 'Ava' dress to create elegant gathering above the bust running into soft gathers underneath. 

Different to the Ava dress - there is a shaped waist panel which has 4 covered buttons. Gathered into the back to create a flattering pouch/blouson look - inspired by an original.

Sleeves are gathered into the armhole, finish around the wrist and are moderately full with elastic at the wrist. 

Skirt is cut on the bias and has a side zip.

Fabric is super soft and floaty - lightweight and unlined so that the bias sits perfectly on the body.

Key Vintage inspired features include:-

- v neckline - with shirring at shoulder
- 4 covered buttons on bodice
- bias cut skirt panels
- sleeves with gather detail 
- midi length - approx 91 cms from natural waist (NB: this will change depending on your own shape due to the bias nature of the garment)

Dry clean or cold hand wash - MUST dry flat due to bias panels.

Fabric: 100% viscose - produced in Italy.
