The Ferno Megasus Bariatric Ambulance Trolley is a high-performance solution designed for specialist patient transfers, particularly for bariatric care.

Built on the trusted design of the Pegasus trolley, the Megasus features width-extending cotsides to accommodate larger patients comfortably and securely.

It is ideal for use in vehicles with a tail-lift or ramp and supports a safe working load of up to 400kg in its lowered position.

This trolley offers excellent manoeuvrability with low-friction wheels, ergonomic push-pull handles, and optional foot-end push poles.

Operators can easily adjust the height using a manual hydraulic raise/lower system, helping reduce strain and improve safety during transport.

To enhance patient comfort, the Megasus includes a wider backrest and mattress, along with the option for standard or longer-length extending cotsides and full-length inflatable sidepads.

Hygiene and infection control are supported by its antimicrobial paint finish, Silver Biosafe harness restraints, and easy-to-clean ABPR pressure-relief mattress.

Additional features include reflective strips for night visibility, a reversible headrest, and compatibility with Ferno’s Two-Part Locking System.

The Megasus is tested and certified to EN 1789 standards and is suitable for use with a wide range of in-vehicle lock systems.
