This colorful 1950's wool blazer is anything but boring! The fabrication used was a delicate wool with an aqua teal background covered with an all over bright purple floral / scroll work motif. It closes down the center front with four covered buttons that match the main fabric The inside has a teal polyester lining making it easy to slide on and off over layers. And the inner back hem has a fun gold tone chain detail! The original label in the neckline reads "J W Robinson, California, Designed by Boykoff". It also has an ILGWU union label in the interior side seam. J. W. Robinson Co., Robinson's, was a chain of department stores operating in the Southern California and Arizona area. Perfect for mid century lovers or anyone who appreciates a bold pop of color on a designer piece. When worn it has a flattering cropped silhouette and bracelet length sleeves.
Condition:
Good pre-loved vintage condition for it's age. The interior lining has some stains in the arm area. The buttons and button holes are work well. The outer fabric has some small holes if you inspect closely. No stains on the outer fabric and comes from a smoke free home.
