Gorgeous red plaid suit from reknowned French fashion house, Givenchy, comes with the added bonus of a lovely ivory silk charmeuse blouse. The jacket has shoulder pads (dating the suit to the 1980s), a notched collar, three-button closure, and buttoned cuffs. The pencil skirt has a hidden side zipper. The shell fabric is wool that looks like brand new, and the red linings are either silk or a synthetic of some kind. Both the jacket and the skirt have been professionally altered to enlarge their sizes. The only visible evidence of the alterations are two red splices on the waistband of the skirt (a photo of one of these is included). No size labels are present, so based on our sizing tables, we are estimating the size of the suit to be in the 14-18, XL, or 1X, range. Please refer to the measurements for additional guidance regarding sizes.
