This is an exquisite 50s black cocktail dress with a velvet bodice and a full taffeta skirt. The bodice is adorned with rhinestones that really catch the light and sparkle. It has a round neckline and short dolman cap sleeves, just off the shoulder. Best worn with a petticoat. Unlined. Metal side zipper closure. 

COLOUR: Black

MATERIAL: Velvet (possibly silk), taffeta (probably acetate or nylon), rhinestones.

CONDITION: This beauty does come with some issues. 
Some of the rhinestones on the front are missing which has left holes in the fabric. 
A rip in the back bodice dart.
Damage in the right armpit area.
