Our take on a classic black dress comes with big ruffles and even bigger volume, making this dress a head-turner! Crafted in taffeta silk, it features a pleated bodice with a flared skirt silhouette which is intricately hand embroidered with oversized floral motifs. Details are minimal but intentional, like the thin ties with beaded tassels on the open back. We believe customers have a right to know how their product was made. 6 metres of Dupion taffeta silk fabric sourced from Jaipur has been used for this piece. Manufactured and hand-embroidered in our workshop at Pune, India. This product is hand embroidered using traditional techniques. Subtle variations in patterns are natural to this process. We believe this makes each creation unique and charming. Some call it je ne sais quoi. We call it JODI.
