Not for the shy....the dress is all things 80s with it's EXTREME pouf sleeves! It was handmade in the 1980's for a runway show by a local Los Angeles, Californian designer. The fabric has a crisp, glossy black background with an all over geometric pattern in a contrasting velvet. The body of the dress is loose, A-line and could be worn this way or belted. It flare at the bottom hemline thanks to the thick gathered panel (hits below the knees on most heights). The fabric is light weight and comfortable, not heavy at all. And then there are the sleeves!! These sleeves are huge with more than enough pouf to be a show stopper. There is a thin, light weight stuffing inside of the sleeve so they will maintain their shape. The neckline is a deep scoop that will sit wide on your shoulders and be low cut in both the front and back. There is no sizing tag but it would be perfect on a Large or Extra Large. It could be worn by a Medium but would be extremely oversized. It could also be worn by a XXL but would be more fitted.
