The Dress Shirt is a versatile dress inspired by a classic men’s shirt. This dress is relaxed and cut to be loose, making it great for layering in fall/winter or on it's own throughout spring/summer. This pattern features a yoke and 2 unique sleeve options.

When making this Dress Shirt, you’ll learn to work with a commercial sewing pattern to find your perfect size. This dress is great for showing off your favourite fabric, with cute sleeves and a front yolk with accent topstitching.

Throughout the lesson, class participants will learn how to sew set in sleeves, make gathers, work with curves, sew a lined yolk, make box pleats, plus so much more!

Prerequisites: 101 Sewing Machine Tote Bag or Throw Pillow, plus at least two or three level 200 or 300, or equivalent experience

Pattern Details: The Merchant and Mills Dress Shirt pattern includes bust sizes from 32" to 55". If you are outside these bust measurements, please let us know when you join the class so we can ensure the pattern and fabric requirements are appropriate for your project.
