This is an incredible vintage early 1940's dress. The two inner labels read "Bonwit Teller, fifth avenue New York" and "New York Creation, NY Dress Institute". It is made of jet black rayon crepe with a black taffeta bow and accordion ribbon edging. It features a V neckline with shirring and a center weight and bold padded shoulders. It has a drop waist with a metal side zipper and a beautiful three tiered ruffled sweep. This dress is incredible, So Many Amazing Details!

• It measures: 39" bust, 31" waist (natural smallest part), 35" drop waist seam, 40" hips, 45" long shoulder to hem, 12" long sleeves, 12" arm openings, 15 1/2" shoulder seam to seam across the back
• It is in excellent wearable condition with two small flaws- A tiny darned spot on the front left waist area and a small clean hole on one of the tiers of the skirt, both very minimal (see photos).
