Vintage 1940's amazing wool coat with velvet trim, stunning silhouette and exquisite details.  This piece oozes old Hollywood glamour with its sensational silhouette and stunning details. It features a sharp pointed collar with contrast velvet trim, full length sleeve with turnback cuff adorned with matching velvet trim, button front, stunning stitchwork details and pockets. With this piece the back detailing is just as good as the front, with delightful stitchwork pleat detailing which makes your heart sing. It has that classic fit and flare shape cinching you in at the waist. It looks lovely styled draped over the shoulders on top of suits or dresses or equally on as it should be buttoned up. Good Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Externally a couple of tiny grazes and one mark to the shoulder. The piece presents exquisitely. Internally the lining has suffered from moth nibbles. Could be worn as is or relined or repaired if desired.  If you would like further photographs please get in touch.
