WOW currently has many hundreds of possible permutations of Panel configurations. To limit the choice, we have split the panels into categories and then limited the available options. If you are looking for an option that is not there then we would politely ask you to reconsider your choice of Panel or ring us to discuss after first ensuring you have emailed us pictures of the horse.

About BBS Panels

The new BBS (Big Bearing Surface) Panels are an upgrade from the existing panels and have proved to improve softness of the back and encourage lift. They bring the bearing surface of the English saddle almost in line with that of a Western saddle, thereby reducing the amount of pressure per square inch the horse experiences under saddle. BBS Panels fill the space that is left under the saddle between the top of the flap and the horse. They are an excellent choice for riders who have hip or back pain, especially when in the saddle, and seem to be preferred by horses who have back pain or a short back.

About Flair MKII

WOW's new Flair MKII panels are totally different than their standard Flair panels. The panels have much smaller "jacking" (air) bags above a resilient foam layer and a shock-absorbing foam panel beneath them. This new Air Flocking System is ideal for jumpers and other riders who have felt the standard Flair Air Flocking System was too 'bouncy'. Flair MKII panels are low-maintenance and simpler to use, too! Combining Flair with traditional panel flocking foams means the Flair System is only used to fine-tune the overall saddle balance - it is not the primary means of protecting the horse's back from the saddle tree. While one should never ride on Flair panels that have not been inflated, the panels in the Flair MKII System may be ridden in 'flat', or 'out of the box'. The traditional foam panels are enough on their own to protect the horse's soft tissues from the hard tree. The Flair System is then merely the icing on the cake!

Please expect a wait time of 6 - 12 weeks for delivery, depending on current Production Lead Time.
