Tropical fitted pin up dress from the late 50's or early 60's. Long and lean almost to the knee and then the hem flares out mermaid style! Dress is sleeveless and has scoop neck in front and back edged with self piping. 17. 5" zipper in back. Bust darts and two sets of long princess darts front and back give the dress a very fitted silhouette. The polished cotton fabric is printed with yellow and orange tropical flowers (maybe plumeria) and big green leaves. There was a repair done near the bottom of the zipper. Hard to see, but I included a photo. This dress has ample room in the bust as compared to the waist (see measurements) so it will fit hourglass shapes best! Glamorous vintage dress Hawaiian style!
