This curiously characterful bird brooch is a rare piece of pop fashion history. Although not marked with the official house logo, we know from the item’s provenance and notes of the former owner that this is an original 1960s Biba accessory. According to my sources, Biba's jewellery was not always custom made, but often purchased at trade fairs in Paris or Milan.

Measuring 3.5 x 3 inches, the brooch has been repaired at the back - the missing pin clasp having been replaced with a safety pin.
