In 1979, Adrienne Vittadini launched her own lifestyle brand. With a European heritage and an American sensibility, the name Adrienne Vittadini has long been synonymous with designs that have a modern point of view. At first glance this looks like a classic 1950’s-1960’s argyle sweater…but upon taking a closer look you will notice the more modern and designer details! It is made from 100% world with a classic collared short sleeve sweater silhouette. It has beautiful black and white angle detailing down the front. But that detailing is covered with button work! At the center front neckline there are three buttons so you can wear it buttoned up or opened for a more casual look.

It was previously owned by Joyce Kim Lee, an Emmy Award-winning Costume Designer, with more than 25 years of experience. She designed costumes for over 50 productions in theatre, opera, and dance and worked on over 30 tv and movie projects. This piece was from her costume collection and was used on set or stage….who knows what piece of Hollywood History this piece holds!

Condition:

The wool is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or stains. The intricate button work has a few sections missing, but still looks beautiful.
