Gorgeous blue dress in medium weight cotton vertical stripe party dress. Circa 1950s. Lovely medium weight cotton in a vertical stripe print in shades of blue, purple, melon, old gold and moss green as pictured. Classic New Look styling with a fitted and darted bodice, nipped waist and full gathered skirt with a 124" bottom skirt sweep. Square front neckline and plunging back neckline as pictured. The bodice is darted for a flattering fit. The center front is accented with an inverted pleat from the neckline to the bottom of the skirt. The bodice is lined with lightweight soft white cotton. The unlined single layer skirt comes to my mid calf - it may be shorter or longer on you depending on your height. Does up the center back with a 13" long metal zipper. No pockets. Shown with a crinoline which is not included. DESIGNER LABEL: Only a lot number tag remains. SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern Extra Small to Small (XS to S), depending on how you like your fit.
