This came from a fabulous private purchase at a local country estate clearance, which had clothing from the 30s to the 60s belonging to a very well dressed lady. 

I’ve long since sold the dress that I believe was worn with this hat, and have just found this in a box! 

In excellent condition, it has a velvet band added to the rear inner band for grip, and integral hat elastic. No labels, but I wonder if one was under the velvet - or removed when it was added.

Front brim 2” deep

Excellent. Nothing to note.
