IAG offers a complete package with our Version 2 Oil Pickup, Baffle, and Windage Tray at a reduced price compared to buying them separately. Oil control in a Subaru EJ horizontally opposed engine is critical for normal operation, but especially so when modified for higher performance. Keeping the oil in the oil pan area so that the oil pickup has a constant supply of fresh oil to feed the oil pump is one of the most crucial aspects of a healthy engine. This is where the IAG Oil Control Baffle, Windage Tray & V2 Oil Pickup Combo comes in.

The IAG V2 Oil Pickup is made to replace the OEM EJ25 oil pickup, known for its susceptibility to failure. OEM Subaru oil pickups are notorious for developing cracks and ultimately failing, leading to engine damage caused by insufficient oil pressure. To address the problems associated with the OEM pickups, IAG has developed the V2 pickup using heavy-gauge steel tubing that is twice as thick as the factory version. It includes a 3/8" stainless steel flange that has been precision machined for a perfect fit and sealed with a Viton O-ring. The V2 pickup features an integrated stainless steel mounting bracket that is connected at two points, as opposed to the single mounting point on the factory component. The increased thickness of the TIG-welded V2 Oil Pickup, along with the two-point mounting configuration provides extra protection against failure and fatigue.

The IAG Windage Tray directs oil from the upper crankcase into the lower crankcase and the oil pan area. It is constructed of high-quality stainless steel and features special louvers that direct oil downward, preventing it from splashing up into the crankshaft and connecting rods, thereby reducing aeration.

The IAG Oil Control Baffle and Windage Tray System is engineered to minimize blow-by and safeguard against oil starvation in your Subaru’s engine when subjected to high RPM and G-force driving conditions. Through the use of Viton one-way flapper valves on our baffle and louvers in our windage tray, oil is prevented from reentering the upper crankcase area and is directed down into the oil pan to ensure plentiful supply to the oil pickup. IAG's integrated two-piece Oil Control Baffle and Windage Tray System is designed to work with our own included oil pickup, as well as various other commonly used pickups. The baffle fits neatly in the engine crankcase area, allowing normal installation of the EJ25 OEM oil pan and popular aftermarket pans.
