The assembly is designed for factory wiring points — connectors are compatible with original mounting location. Verify harness condition before install; if factory connectors are corroded, replacement wiring may be needed.

Will I need to remove the entire rear panel to install this?

Installation happens at the factory brake light pocket — no interior trim removal required. Access from the rear hatch area is standard.

Do I need to seal the mounting points after install?

Test the light function before sealing anything permanent. If factory gaskets are in good condition, reuse them. If they're cracked or missing, pick up silicone sealant during install to prevent water intrusion around the housing.
