Evolution D5 2+2 PowerPlate

Our D5 2+2 PowerPlate® offers a hassle-free plug-and-play harness and bolt-on installation, making it easy to add 12-volt accessories to your vehicle the right way. Equipped with a marine-grade fuse panel and plenty of surface area, it’s perfect for mounting your LED controller, amplifier, or any other upgrades you have in mind. The Evolution D5 2+2 comes with a 48-volt to 12-volt reducer to power factory components like the touchscreen, lighting, and soundbar. However, adding aftermarket accessories to this setup usually requires cutting and modifying wiring—something most golf cart owners prefer to avoid. That’s why we developed the PowerPlate®. By simply plugging into the voltage reducer and bolting to the frame, it provides D5 2+2 owners a quick, safe, and clean solution for adding aftermarket accessories—no wire cutting needed!

- Plug N Play Design: Don't risk shorting your converter/accessories out by trying to cut and crimp onto your D5s factory wiring. The 2+2 PowerPlate® features a plug n play weather protected harness that is prewired to a marine grade fuse panel and plugs right in to the 12volt converter on your D5. So not only is it easy to install, it's also safe!
- Simple & Sexy: You might not think wiring can be considered "sexy" but we at BA Carts are wiring nerds, so when we see a beautiful panel like the PowerPlate that is good looking, easy to install, and hides all of the accessory wiring t'boot, we get a little excited! (you should to because quality wiring is safe wiring!)
- Quick Installation: Bolt it down, plug it in, wire your accessories to the fuse panel. Done. Can it get any easier? 
- No Drilling, No Wire Cutting: The plate bolts to pre existing holes on the equipment panel under the rear seat, and the fuse panel plugs into the 12volt converter, so there's no need to drill mounting holes, or cut wires to install it, or screws to screw the plate down.
- Accessory Panel: Not only do you have 12 volt terminals to wire in your amp, led controller, and other accessories, our plate provides you with a surface area to mount those items to as well! 
- We Upgrade The Wiring!: The factory 12 volt wiring harness that powers your touchscreen, usb charger, and lighting, does not have a fuse. So if any of those items short out, you run a risk of frying your converter. However, with our Powerplate, we fuse the wiring to the dash, so now if any of those items short out, you'll blow the fuse, instead of your converter.
- Ready For The Weather: American Powder Coated Plate (Ultra Rust Preventative), Heat Shrank Wires, Marine Grade Connectors, Marine Grade Fuse Panel, the D5 BA PowerPlate® isn't made to just look pretty, it's made to to handle all weather conditions, and provide a safe wiring solution to your accessories.
- 10 Gauge Wiring Harness: Now that it is easy to add accessories like an LED Light Bar, an amplifier, etc, you're going to draw quite a bit of amperage from your 12 volt reducer r on your D5, and when you're drawing higher amperage, a heavier gauge wire is required. The 2+2 PowerPlate's wiring harness has 10 gauge wire for ground and for power, which is rated for a 20 amp draw (the max amperage provided by the factory voltage reducer on your D5).
- Easy Access: Mounted right below your rear seat with the fuse panel facing up, our PowerPlate could not be installed in a better place to make it easier for you to check your fuses!
- Craftsmanship: We are perfectionist with over 100 years of audio experience and we love wiring just as much as we love golf carts, so you can expect the highest level of craftsmanship when it comes to our wiring, product design, and overall fit and finish.

Technical:

- The Marine Wiring Kit will be attached to the backside of the PowerPlate with (2) Wire Glands and (2) Snap Grommets. The glands/grommets will not be installed because they should only be installed if wires will be traveling through them (AKA, installed by you when installing your own accessories)
- When we build our plug n play sound systems that feature the PowerPlate, we install a marine box with marine wire glands and snap grommets on the PowerPlate, allowing us to put all wiring connections inside of the box, keeping them away from weather and away from components on the D5. (all soldered wiring connections would just be out in the open air if we didn't install the marine box)
- The marine wiring kit is not required for you to wire in your own accessories to the PowerPlate but it does allow you to keep vulnerable wiring connections away from weather and the carts components.

Is The D5 2+2 PowerPlate® Made For You?

- The D5 PowerPlate is made for an Evolution D5 2+2 owner who doesn't want to cut the wiring on their cart to tap into the 12v power. It's also for the 2+2 owner who would prefer a 5 minute solution for wiring a fuse panel onto their cart instead of spending a considerable more amount of time DIYing it themselves.

Ordering Guidance:

- Order this PowerPlate if you want a proper and simple solution to adding your own 12 volt accessories (lights, led lights, audio, etc).
- This PowerPlate does not "plug n play" with our audio and/or LED products. If you order just this PowerPlate as is, and then later decide you want one of our LED/Audio packages, that new package will include a PowerPlate with the sound system's amp and/or LED Controller pre installed and wired to the fuse panel (meaning this PowerPlate is no longer used).
