Sip 'n Sew Classes in South Bend, IN

Join us for a fun and relaxing evening (or morning) of sewing, light refreshments, and great company!

This 3-4 hour class is open to women and girls (accompanied by their mothers) and offers a welcoming space to work on sewing projects while receiving expert guidance.

What to Expect

During Sip 'n Sew, participants can practice their craft in the office lobby learning center, where Singer Elite sewing machines and irons are available for use. A large cutting mat and table are also accessible in the fabric shop room. Mary Grace will be present to provide expert assistance with any projects.

This is a great opportunity to test out the Singer Elite sewing machines and sergers, which are available for purchase at Anagrassia Atelier.

You'll leave the class with new skills, a work-in-progress project, and new friends!

Class Schedule

• Thursday Evenings: 5:30 – 7:30 PM
• Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  (Wine and light snacks provided)

Limited Availability: Only 3-4 spots per class.
One Saturday spot includes a one-hour private lesson before class. This hour can be used to learn the sewing machine with Mary Grace, review a pattern, or cut out your pattern pieces.

If you're new to sewing, please note that cutting fabric can take several hours. It's best to cut your pieces ahead of time and use class time to sew. If you purchase the private lesson spot and choose to use that hour cutting, you may end up spending most of your morning and class time on cutting alone.

What to Bring

For Sip 'n Sew classes, students should bring their own projects or purchase a Sip 'n Sew kit ahead of time. If you’re new to sewing, purchasing a kit is highly recommended.
