Do these fenders come with clear coat, or do I need to apply it?

These ship in raw carbon fiber. A UV-protective clear coat is strongly recommended to maintain the weave finish and prevent yellowing over time. Sand and prep the surface before applying your chosen clear coat system.

What's the difference between wet and dry carbon fiber?

Wet carbon (hand-laid, like these) uses resin applied during layup for a solid, durable finish. Dry carbon is a thinner wrap applied over a substrate. These fenders are hand-laid wet carbon, offering better impact resistance and longevity.

Should I seal the edges where the fender meets the body?

Yes. After installation, seal gaps and edges with automotive weatherstripping or sealant to prevent moisture and debris from entering the fender cavity. This protects both the carbon and the underlying body structure.
