Vintage 40s Embroidered Dress Black Rayon Long Sleeve

Pulls on overhead, this collarless beauty has long fitted sleeves and princess seams across the torso for a flattering fit. Shoulders are lightly padded, there is a seam at the natural waistline. Note the gorgeous, white scroll like embroidery at the neckline, the chest and at the hip fronts. Chest and hips areas have elegant pleating.
Skirt is A line and has a ruffled hem, ending below the knees.
Closes with snaps at the side as well as at the nape.

Condition: Good to very good with the only flaw being that the princess seams at the rear of the torso are a bit "strained". If you measure slightly under the chest and waist numbers, this dress should last and last. This flaw is only visible when pointed out under direct light with the fabric spread out.
