Our new Art Nouveau `Layla` is one of those dresses that makes your heart skip a beat. made from a soft cotton  natural organic t-shirt fabric  with the most beautiful stylish printed motif of a lady in full glorious colour....an old nostalgic advertising poster for a perfume.

We wonder at the perfume this poster represented ? Was it the sweet smell of Apple Blossoms lingering in the air ? A promise of Spring and beautiful long Summer days? Or was it a mixture of rich undertones of Sandalwood, Rose Otto and Bergamot - heady and intoxicating ?

This dress is just gorgeous - with its quirky original loose fitting style it is so original. 

We just love Layla and can imagine it being worn at  all kinds of outings. It is Arty and quirky.
Wearing artful clothes gives the wearer a Super Power .... try it - we dare you !

How very apt for a dress from Miss Rose Sister Violet we thought

In 2 sizes this is a very generous dress which can be layered with pants, skirt, leggings or worn on its own . It would be the perfect top to take with you on holiday as it can double and triple up for so many uses ( over a bathing suit , a lounging around casual top, dressed up with jewels to go out on the town - perfect for that trip to Paris don`t you think ?
The fabric is extremely soft and has a raw edge around the neck . We have purposefully made it look just a little tatty around the neckline to give it that gorgeous old slightly distressed look.
The colors are a rich dark chocolate image against a yummy pale Custard and Cream tea stained background.
