Louie’s Meadow is a vibrant floral design inspired by the playful spirit of Raoul Dufy’s artworks. Hand-painted from life with brush pens and gouache, its lively poppies and daisies form a bold, large-scale repeat bursting with colour. Painted with floral shapes first and outlines added last, it reflects the layered artistry of traditional screen-printing techniques.

This design is printed at Liberty’s own printing mill in northern Italy onto classic cotton poplin. With its soft feel and rich yarn construction, this breathable woven fabric is comfortable year-round. Perfect for timeless shirts and blouses, Piccadilly poplin also works beautifully for lightweight dresses and skirts with effortless style.

From the Studio offers a rare glimpse into the creative process, from initial sketches and hand-painted artwork to digital experimentation and final fabric prints. A true celebration of Liberty’s legacy in printmaking and storytelling.
