The Bisi Aso-Oke Free Dress is a one-of-a-kind oversized dress crafted from traditional Aso-Oke fabric (pronounced ah-SHAW-okay). Aso-Oke is a hand-woven textile of the Yoruba people of Nigeria, West Africa, known for its beauty, durability, and cultural heritage.
Inspired by Yvonne’s love for Scandinavian simplicity and Japanese oversized silhouettes, this free dress balances bold volume with timeless craftsmanship. The luxurious Aso-Oke fabric was hand-loomed in the ancient city of Iseyin, Oyo State, Nigeria, exclusively for Kemi Telford. Each dress is then hand-stitched by our seamstress Helen in Surulere, Lagos — making every piece unique.
Designed to be voluminous, relaxed, and effortless to wear, the Bisi Aso-Oke Free Dress is cut intentionally oversized. If oversized is not your style, this is not the dress for you.
