Mica Mountain is painted by Mount Isa artist Sonja Clark, who now lives and works in Tasmania. I asked Sonja about this wonderful song line and here is Sonja's answer: 'Mica is one of my favourite stones. It aligns the energy in the body and is a healing crystal. On Kalkadoon country in Mount Isa while hiking I came across a hill of mica in the bush there, it was incredible shining like diamonds shining emerging from the ground. I fell to the earth and rolled in the mica which stuck to my skin like glitter. Such a strong spiritual presence there, left me feeling energised. This art is dedicated to that wonderful place.'
