VINTAGE 50-60s SKIRT SUIT | SIZE L

A very special vintage 50s-60s skirt set in floral silk. This beautiful 3 piece Jackie O style outfit includes midi skirt, matching wrap with genuine mink fur trim in deep mahogany brown, and self belt with bow accent. The skirt has a slightly A-line cut, rear zipper closure. and red silk lining. The wrap has the floral silk on both sides, and can be worn in a variety of ways - tucked into belt, closed with a brooch of your choice, or simply draped over your shoulders. The belt has a side bow accent with a hidden snap which attaches to a corresponding snap on rear skirt waistband for hold.

It's made of high quality watercolor floral silk in tones of red & black with touches of gold. The fabric is very unusual - possibly a brocade or jacquard. It has a light stiffness which would work well for formal events, and could also be worn as a cocktail or work outfit. It has a floral silk satin base with woven floral areas, creating a contrasting satin/matte effect with light texture. Quite difficult to capture in photos - must be seen to fully appreciate. CONDITION:

Very good - excellent condition. High quality hand-stitched set, possible designer-made but no tags present. Fur is soft & supple - no dryness or shedding.
