Background of Hanzo

Hanzo is the oldest son of Sojiro Shimada and was the heir to the Shimada criminal empire. When his father died and his younger brother Genji refused to participate in the empire’s activities, the brothers engaged in a bloody battle and Hanzo presumed Genji dead. Filled with remorse and guilt, he left the Shimada empire and roamed the earth as a solitary warrior. Honing his abilities during his travels, he became a masterful sniper, known for his strength and stealth.

Hanzo wields a Storm Bow, from which he shoots specifically modified arrows such as Storm Arrows. Hanzo also carries Sonic Arrows, which contain tracking devices used for revealing enemy locations. Hanzo’s Ultimate ability, Dragonstrike, summons twin dragons that travel in the direction of his arrow and destroy everything in its path.
