Vintage 1940’s sensational 3pc suit in black wool with amazing teardrop buttons. This is an exquisite set consisting of jacket, skirt and belt and has a ‘ Doreta’ of London label. The jacket has a stunning silhouette and features a strong shoulder line enhanced by shoulder pads, full length sleeve, longline shape and a sharp pointed collar. The jacket fastens with 3 amazing teardrop shaped buttons, the best original buttons we have ever seen. The jacket cinches in at the waist and has pleats to the hips and has pockets! The skirt is a simple a line shape and has 2 slits to either side of the skirt hem and fastens with side hook and eyes. It also has a matching belt which fastens with eyelet holes. This set looks great worn as a set but equally as fabulous worn with varying separates to create differing ensembles. 

A great addition to any 1940's wearers collection. A staple in such a versatile colour way that looks great for many occasions. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Great Vintage Condition, flaws to note - 1 eyelet missing to the belt and slight wear. 1 tiny pin prick hole to the skirt. These flaws do not detract from the wearability of the piece. The set presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
