This vintage dress from the 1960s is a peach colored showstopper. Made in a bombshell hourglass shape the outer layer is 100% straw raffia, crocheted into a floral and paisley pattern overlay, with an acetate lining beneath. There was a period in the late 50s and onward where straw garments were all the rage for summer vacation season. This dress has a high boat neckline with a deep scoop back and there is a metal back center zipper to get it on and off. Just a true beauty of a dress… you won’t be disappointed in this one! I believe this is a vintage Apicella, made in Italy piece. Their pieces were all hand crocheted.

Bust measures 38 inches, waist 28 inches could fit up to 30, hip 38 inches could fit up to 40, Length 57. There’s a few minor discolorations but they get lost in the overall effect of the dress.
