Lovely vintage 50s medium weight hand beaded cashmere and angora blend cardigan sweater.

Beautiful off white sweater features an overall design of hand beaded faux pearls with floral rosettes of iridescent bugle bead with dangles of round beads and faux pearls s as pictured.

Open front with no fasteners. The sweater is unlined with wrist length sleeves.

Both sides of the open front are backed with grosgrain ribbon for stability.

This sweater is very soft and not itchy or scratchy at all.

This sweater is "full-fashioned" meaning it was knit into shape, rather than being cut and sewn from a flat piece of knit fabric.

SIZING: Tagged a vintage size 40. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium.

CONDITION: Excellent - no fading, discoloration, holes, rips, stains, snags, odors, broken beads or faux pearls, or other issues. The knit is very strong and not thin or stressed. The only thing is there are some pinholes on the inside grosgrain ribbon where the sweater was pinned shut by a previous owner. These pinholes do not show through to the outside and do not detract at all.
