Tricot Jersey Fabric - Narrow Blue Stripe

Tricot jersey fabric is a type of warp-knit fabric characterised by its soft, smooth surface on one side and a textured, ribbed appearance on the other. Its construction gives tricot jersey excellent stretch, durability, and run resistance. Perfect for T shirts, tops, baby and childrenswear.

This tricot fabric features alternating narrow dark blue and pale blue stripes.

Tricot, the Dutch term for Jersey, comes from the French word for "knit" and refers to a knitting technique, not a specific fabric. This blue striped jersey is made with pre-dyed yarns woven into a pattern, unlike regular jersey, which is dyed after knitting. Yarn-dyed fabrics use coloured threads woven together, resulting in a distinct, artisanal look that differs from the printed patterns of piece-dyed fabrics.
