Absolutely one of a kind. Dramatic vintage deco costume piece - could be burlesque or simple evening wear! Sturdily constructed, this could be worn with care but I would recommend pinning it to your clothing if that was possible to prevent it slipping to the ground and being damaged. I’d date it to c.1920s, it all looks very original. 

Front fastening with hook and eye, entirely constricted from glass Czech beads and crystal cabochons. I’ve held onto it for ages as there was one big faceted crystal missing, and I finally managed to find some old stock in the Czech Republic to replace it like for like - since then I’ve just had it on a form to look at.. but needs must. 
 

Measures: 

The shoulder ‘epaulettes’ are 8” x 3” approx

Each medallion plus longest drop 6”

Front and back width both approx 25” - see my badly illustrated sketch as that makes more sense!

Condition: 

Very good. One replacement crystal cabochon, you can’t tell which really as it is identical.
A little visible thread to top of first row of beading, maybe lost a bead as not loose. The who thing is generally strong but obviously needs to be handled carefully as glass - but threads are not weak as far as I can tell and all secure. There are 4 x fringed drops to front and 5 x to the back, not sure if one missing but looks fine being picky..
