The design of the tableware service "Labirinto" by Richard Ginori is quite obviously inspired by that of a labyrinth – a system of many lines which by numerous changes of direction produce an impressive and intricate pattern. The decoration on the Ginori porcelain resembles a classic labyrinth, based on a strict and precisely determined line. The original neoclassic design for this collection comes from a draft made by Gio Ponti, who was the chief designer at Richard Ginori for many years.
