Vintage 40s Pink Dress w/ Embroidered Floral Collar, Belted / S

Delightful summer frock in a coral pink, it has a large, fold down peter pan collar embroidered with crocheted flowers in layers of white and pink. There is a little sash tie at the center of te throat and decorate buttons on either sides of the princess seams of the chest. Sleeves are short and cuffed. Waist is nipped and defined by a matching, adjustable belt. There are apron pockets at the hips, while the midi skirt is cut on a slight A line. Closes with a zipper at the upper back and at the side. Unlined.

condition: very good with two minor issues in that the edges of the belt show a little wear, and if you put the dress flat and look at it in direct sunlight, there is a hint of faded collar at the front top sections, between the buttons and the sleeve. It is very hard to spot and needs to be pointed out to be visible. Priced accordingly.
