Antique 1910s silk chiffon gown with lace panels and a draping skirt, typical of the era immediately preceding World War I.  The under layers are a soft pink, and the lightly plisséd chiffon and lace overlays are cream, creating a peachy cast.  This gown would make a lovely wedding dress.

Condition

Good, presenting very well for its age but with several flaws to note.

In order of the images: There are small, scattered holes throughout.  The most visible location is between the side of the bodice and the armpit.  The most volume of holes in one place is near the hem and in the draping organza at the sides.  There are several more near the back waistband.

There is also some scattered yellowing that did not release with thorough soaking.  The most notable is on the side of the sleeve, and some fainter spots can be seen on the back of the bodice.

Lastly, the edge of the lace collar in the back is a little raw.

Overall the dress presents really well.  It is is good structural shape, but please note that the fabric is light and delicate.  This would make an excellent wedding dress for the ceremony - just not for the dancing!
