The OEM Coolant Overflow Tank for the 2008-2014 WRX/STI does its job well enough but the cheap plastic material is ugly and will potentially crack over time, especially when driving hard and going through extreme heat cycles. Its shape is also clumsy and obtrusive when adding an aftermarket FMIC.

Constructed of welded aluminum with a capacity of .8L, similar to the OEM tank, along with internal and external anodizing. The COBB tank looks much better under the hood while providing a very simple relocated mounting solution that works perfectly fine on a stock car. Its shape is also more conducive to fitting piping from an aftermarket Front Mount Intercooler.

A custom COBB Delrin cap is included which is highly heat resistant and adds to the overall clean look. Plus, the kit comes with a silicone adapter hose and injection molded cap for the washer fluid reservoir, giving a uniform look.
